About Ian Ko

Planning systems and strategies that interface well with human experiences is what I enjoy doing most - My approach: To be ambitious in the pursuit of my objectives, and relentless towards the discovery of new information & technologies. I graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in Fall 2017 with a Bachelors of Business Administration (HBBA) and an intent to further bolster my understanding of other areas, namely data strategy and city politics, in the coming years. It’s an admittedly broad perspective, but one that I feel has merit in an era that demands multi-disciplinary thinking. In November 2018, I began the development of a concept I call ‘AGORA’ - a simple tool where citizens will be able to upvote / downvote issues or suggestions in their area, to give local administrations a priority list of items to pursue. As of August 2022, I will begin fully pursuing the development of this platform on the side of my studies at Suffolk University starting in the Fall 2022 Semester as an MPA / MAAP Graduate Student. If you’d like to talk about IT Strategy, AI, UX Design, or even volunteer opportunities in the Greater Boston Region, let’s connect on here or feel free to reach me at ian.ko@su.suffolk.edu
