Maintain a large code base on JBoss/JPA which serves 28 sites with subscription video, on demand video, and live cam shows, run by a 130-employee adult video production company.Rebuilt the live cam site with all AJAX dynamic interactions using jQuery and Spring MVC, in a service-oriented architecture; focused mainly on the cam session tracking web service and assisted with the credit card billing web service.Redesigned and rewrote a self-updating embedded advertising system. Instead of requiring affiliates to download the latest images and update their sites weekly, they embed the generated Javascript snippets and the ads "automagically" display the company’s latest content.Deploy code to QA and production; perform code reviews; help new developers setup and troubleshoot their environments.

Maintain a large code base on JBoss/JPA which serves 28 sites with subscription video, on demand video, and live cam shows, run by a 130-employee adult video production company.Solely designed and implemented a full stack image upload system for an event planning and reservation site, including database design, data flow, error recovery, security, user interface, integration, and CDN interaction.Integrated with a new biller by migrating existing customers with recurring subscriptions from the previous biller, and rewrote biller-specific integration code to match the new biller's API.

Rebuilt a leading LGBT website in 15 months with an agile (scrum) development process, migrated the site from three platforms to one built on Java EE, struts, hibernate and spring.Implemented a browser based chat system that allows members to participate in group and private chat, view other's mini profile and manage friends lists among many other features. Maintained all aspects of the site, from the front end to the middle tier to the back end, and in all functional areas such as profile, chat, search, and registration/subscription.

Implemented high priority changes and fixed bugs that were often revenue impacting within 5 days. Executed recommendations from a search engine optimization (SEO) consulting firm to improve search rankings for the site and educated other engineers on SEO best practices. Trained and guided new engineers on our system, and started doing so after only two months.
