Co-ordinate & plan outgoing shipment from DC to ensure accuracy and completeness with minimum traffic disruption.• Follow-up with forwarder to ensure timely arrival and clearance of Full Cargo Load (FCL) / Loose Cargo Load (LCL) cargoes to warehouse with minimum in-house traffic disruption.• Optimise transport expense by good arrangements of air freight (a/f), truck and sea freight (s/f) shipments. • Follow-up on transporters / forwarder performance and propose for improvements or change of service provider in case of failure to perform according to agreed standards or market price• Follow-up with forwarders on discrepancy/damaged cargoes with Corrective Action Report and insurance claim.• Source for alternate suppliers for urgently required items within cost limits to help ensure faster delivery of urgent orders.• Liaise with Customer Service staff and Export team to ensure urgent orders are prioritise for dispatch.• Assist to oversees 3rd party inspection and provide relevant supporting documents to surveyor.• Liaise with warehouse foremen to ensure compliance of special packaging or handling request or any values added DC services.• Provide supervision, scheduling and guidance to shipping personnel.• Maintain correct loading days and time in SAP and assist to maintain correct item weight and volume in SAP material master.• Verifying and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipment.• Maintain good filing and retrieval system to ensure easy access of work documents.• Active involvement and participation in relevant company appointed projects such as SAP (process improvement), ISO 9001, and Total Quality Management (TQM) etc.• Continuous suggestions and improvements to the total operations and own job areas in accordance to the Grundfos Business Excellence Model.
