National Youth Advisory and Action Committee (NYAAC)

In this role, I mobilized individuals and groups in my community to engage with their government officials, promoting support for critical poverty-reduction legislation. I elivered speeches and presentations to groups, classes, and organizations to raise awareness and garner support for The Borgen Project's initiatives. In addition, authored persuasive letters of support for key programs, addressing political leaders, media outlets, and various organizations. Lastly, I successfully launched and managed a two-month fundraising campaign, raising over $700 for the organisations poverty-mitigating efforts.
