As an IBDP art teacher, my role is to inspire and guide my students in their artistic journey. I am passionate about helping them develop their creativity and skills in a variety of mediums, from traditional painting and drawing to digital media.I believe that art is not just about creating beautiful works, but also about understanding the cultural and historical context of different art movements. I strive to provide my students with a strong foundation in art history and theory, and encourage them to analyze and interpret works of art.One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is seeing my students grow and develop their own artistic style. I work closely with them to provide feedback and guidance, and help them create a portfolio of their work that showcases their unique talents and abilities.Overall, being an IBDP art teacher is not just a job for me, it is a passion. In 2018, I curated the Africa SDGs Photo Exhibition for Sahara Ventures Tanzania, which was held at the National Museum of Tanzania. The exhibition showcased a collection of photographs that captured the beauty and diversity of Africa while highlighting the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Each photograph was accompanied by a brief description highlighting the SDG it represented. The exhibition was a huge success, attracting visitors from all over Tanzania and beyond, particularly young people who were inspired by the photographs and the message they conveyed. It was a rewarding experience to contribute to raising awareness about the SDGs at the National Museum of Tanzania.

As a visual artist project coordinator, the primary responsibility is to oversee the development and execution of various art projects.
