As an IBDP art teacher, my role is to inspire and guide my students in their artistic journey. I am passionate about helping them develop their creativity and skills in a variety of mediums, from traditional painting and drawing to digital media.I believe that art is not just about creating beautiful works, but also about understanding the cultural and historical context of different art movements. I strive to provide my students with a strong foundation in art history and theory, and encourage them to analyze and interpret works of art.One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is seeing my students grow and develop their own artistic style. In 2018, I curated the Africa SDGs Photo Exhibition for Sahara Ventures Tanzania, which was held at the National Museum of Tanzania. The exhibition showcased a collection of photographs that captured the beauty and diversity of Africa while highlighting the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Each photograph was accompanied by a brief description highlighting the SDG it represented. The exhibition was a huge success, attracting visitors from all over Tanzania and beyond, particularly young people who were inspired by the photographs and the message they conveyed. It was a rewarding experience to contribute to raising awareness about the SDGs at the National Museum of Tanzania.

As a visual artist project coordinator, the primary responsibility is to oversee the development and execution of various art projects. This involves working closely with artists to help them bring their creative visions to life, as well as managing the logistical aspects of each project.The role requires a deep understanding of the creative process and a passion for supporting artists in their work. The project coordinator must be able to communicate effectively with artists, understand their needs and goals, and provide guidance and support throughout the project.In addition to working with artists, the project coordinator must also be skilled in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. They must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that each one is completed on time and within budget.The job requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. As the managing director of an art center, I am passionate about creating a space where artists and the community can come together to celebrate and explore the arts.
