I'm currently working as a product engineer for EV batteries and devise product solutions for customers. This involves integrating knowledge of cells, modules and battery packs as well as technical information from various domains, including mechanical, electrochemical and chemical (thermal) engineering.My master's thesis was on sodium-ion battery cathodes (which operate similarly to lithium-ion batteries) and my reports and thesis defense were done entirely in Chinese.Having been involved with batteries for several years, I am familiar with electrochemical principles and characterisation techniques, including XRD, SEM, EDS, TGA, ICP as well as electrochemical characterisation methods such as CV, EIS, cycle testing and rate testing.Between my undergraduate and post-graduate studies, I worked in a solar manufacturing plant as a reliability engineer, integrating statistics with RCA/FA to ensure quality requirements (production/post-production) were met.As a native English speaker (having been educated in Singapore up till my bachelor's degree) with a professional level of fluency in Chinese, I can act as an interlocutor between various stakeholders and am able to present on technical topics (batteries in particular) with ease in both English and Chinese.If you're looking for an engineer who can communicate results succinctly among your international teams (e.g. EU/US and China) with technical expertise in battery energy storage and is able to function well in a high-volume manufacturing environment, I'm the right person for the job.
