Kolade managed the Federal Government segment of the Infrastructure Finance Project Portfolio for the UK Nigerian Infrastructure Advisory Facility (UKNIAF), an FCDO funded £72.8m technical assistance facility programme. He worked to collate and manage project appraisal, preparation and the delivery of a pipeline of Public-Private Partnership projects in the Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the Nigerian Federal Government in alignment with several key objectives.

Directly advised the President and Vice-President of Nigeria on critical infrastructure policy matters and initiatives as the Chief Economic Coordinators of the Federal Government. Advisory, Coordination, Research, and Secretariat support to the Vice President and the Economic Management Team (sub-committee of Nigeria’s Federal Executive Council which deliberates on key economic matters), particularly on Infrastructure related matters. Provided technical assistance to the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) and Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), and as liaison between the Presidency and both agencies. Appointed to several technical committees that oversee development, coordination, and policy setting of the Federal Government’s critical infrastructure agenda: a) member, Steering Committee to concession the East and West narrow gauge railway network; b) member, Technical Committee of the National Council of Privatisation; c) member, Secretariat of Economic Management Team; d) member, Secretariat of Economic and Recovery Growth Plan Focus Labs

Seconded to unit advising on project financed mining operations and general financings for clients including the NNPC, Chevron, Exxon Mobil, Lonmin and Anglo-American.

Advised several lead arrangers and agents in connection with the restructuring of secured and unsecured financings; project financing of petrochemical and power sector projects; drafted and negotiated loan agreements, multiple security deeds and guarantee agreements, security trust deed and inter-creditor agreements, gas purchase agreements, and other offtake agreements and guarantees, and general commercial agreements.
