Here is just a selection of the most interesting ones:• Extending the license of a major Czech bank to cover securities brokering services- This project involved extensive negotiations with the Czech National Bank as well as with key stakeholders within the client and its shareholders- I was not only responsible for drafting the client's bylaws relating to the provision of securities brokering services but also cooperated closely with the client's sales and product teams, helping them design new product offerings and implement respective internal processes• Securing the license of a non-bank provider of consumer credit for five separate clients- As the new Act on Consumer Credit came into effect in December 2016, both current and new non-bank providers of consumer credit needed to get licensed by the Czech National Bank within 18 months (i.e. until the end of May 2018)- I worked closely with five clients wishing to be licensed under the new Act and successfully secured licenses for all of them• Preparing a prospectus of senior notes issued by a major Czech bank that were eligible for inclusion in Tier 2 regulatory capital Show less
