Born in Bilbao, I grew up experiencing the power of architecture to transform a city and its people. This made me study architecture in San Sebastián. After finishing my studies and working on a few projects in collaboration with architecture studios in Bilbao, I was eager to have a working and living experience abroad. After winning a grant to work overseas, I started my experience as an architect in the UK. It was a demanding adaptation and learning process, but very satisfactory. The experience has made me capable of overcoming challenges out of my comfort zone, always having a positive impact wherever I have been.
