I grew up raising cattle and showhogs with my family in Alamosa, Colorado. Through these days in the field and nights in the farrowing house I developed a strong passion for agriculture from seeing the positive impacts this lifestyle and others like it have on small towns like mine. After playing on the Adams State University football team and earning my degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Agribusiness and a minor in Economics, I received my J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During my time at Sturm, I was on the University of Denver Water Law Review, serving as a staff editor, business editor, and finally the Volume 22 Editor-in-Chief. I am currently an Associate Attorney at Fennemore Craig. In my free time you can find me helping on my family’s ranch, supporting local 4H exhibitors, or over-analyzing my fantasy football lineup.
