As the founder and creative director of OpenEye Studios, I have played a crucial role in building the company from the ground up since its inception in 2019. In this role, I am responsible for a wide range of tasks that are essential to the success of our video projects, including securing the rights to intellectual property, managing logistics for the film set, and overseeing post-production tasks such as editing and video animation.In addition to these responsibilities, I also have the important duty of hiring talent, negotiating contracts, and scheduling essential staff such as camera operators, grips, and editors. As creative director, I also have the opportunity to direct on-screen talent and write scripts, and I am involved in other production aspects such as audio, visual effects, and graphics.Overall, my skillset includes art direction, creative strategy, branding and identity, video advertising, digital media, and video production. These skills have helped me to successfully lead OpenEye Studios and produce high-quality video content for our clients.

Since beginning my role as a Digital Media Specialist at Big Fish Local in 2020, I was responsible for managing the digital needs of our clients. My daily tasks often involved managing pay-per-click campaigns on platforms such as Google, Facebook, and Microsoft, as well as building websites using WordPress.As a key member of the team, I was responsible for maintaining strong relationships with our clients and for constructing creative advertising campaigns that drove results. Additionally, I had expertise in building websites using a PSD design inside WordPress, ensuring that our clients had a professional and visually appealing online presence. Overall, I was dedicated to helping our clients succeed in the digital world.

During my time as a video editor at Champion City Media, I gained valuable experience in the film industry. In this role, I assisted the lead editor on projects by organizing and cutting footage, and on some projects, I served as the lead editor. In this capacity, I was responsible for taking raw footage shot by the crew and turning it into a cohesive video that followed an outline and script, while also ensuring that any special instructions regarding each scene were followed.My important duties included organizing and archiving footage, "cherry-picking" the best clips to use in the final product, and ensuring that the branding was consistent throughout the video. This experience helped to set the foundation for my future career as a creative director and founder of my own video production agency.

As the Media Director for Springfield Clark CTC, I took part in a work study program that allowed me to gain real-world experience while also fulfilling my coursework requirements. In this role, I handled many aspects of media creation and curation, including producing videos such as branding videos, testimonial videos, and educational videos, as well as curating the school's monthly newsletter and assisting the superintendent with media needs.My work as the Media Director was an integral part of my education, and I was able to use this experience in place of traditional digital media classes at the school. While my time at Springfield Clark CTC was unfortunately cut short due to the pandemic lockdown in 2020, I am grateful for the opportunity to have gained valuable skills in media creation and management that will serve me well in future opportunities.
