We began our journey with cacao beans and chocolates from the rich soil plantations of Ghana, Africa. A chance visit to an Indian Cacao plantation in Kerala took us by suprise! We worked on a batch with Indian Cacao and were surprised with its complex flavor notes which were absolutely on par with chocolates made using cacao from Ghana, Ivory Coast or Madagascar. This led us to indigenize our supply chains and help support Indian Cacao farmers from the Idukki & Malabar districts of Kerala.
