The role includes understanding the business requirements, analyzing them and then implementing them. Technically it is a challenging role where it includes evaluation of tools, making technical decisions, architecture / framework designing, making the product better and better in terms of maintainability, quality and stability, etc...Architected a high volume BI product on OLAP (MSAS) technology. A highly intelligent product with capabilities of mining the customer data to find opportunities for savings. Job based architecture with MDX to find savings opportunities.Configurable dimensions, filters and savings rule.Data mining with automated business constraints. Lead a team of technically sharp individuals with the aim of creating common modules / products / frameworks for the entire Zycus Suite of products with the use of JSON web services – REST Architecture. Designed Common Notification/Logging/Reporting System with easy product integration strategies.Rolled out Common Tracking system analogous to Google AnalyticsDesigned a Centralized Dashboard System with the aim of single dashboard per user for any product.Handed Tenant Management System and Single Sign On System for entire suite of Zycus products

Working on spend management product using Agile methodology. Refactoring the architecture of the product to fit in entirely new set of requirement (Change framework). I look into the overall architecture and the design of the product. My role is to design new modules, code review and making sure that design guidelines are followed by the team.Replaced the searching engine from OLAP engine to Lucene search.

I am working on spend management product since its inception. I was involved in the initial analysis and tools evaluation. Product is built on Liferay portal, with OpenXava as its main component for its configurability. Leveraged Lucene, Spring, Hibernate, JBPM, OLAP.

Worked on the product called American Management System which is used by the federal governments of US to manage their spending and budgeting needs.
