I am researcher at National Agriculture Research Centre (NARC) Islamabad, Pakistan. My research interests include plant-microbe Interaction and other microbial aspects relating to plant growth and development, Biological Control Fungal diseases management, Germplasm Screening, Plant Breeding and Genetics.I Completed MS in Botany from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. My dissertation title: "Evaluation of Genetic Diversity and Performance of Kabuli Chickpea Genotypes Under Irrigated Conditions".Afterward, I joined National Agriculture Research Center Islamabad, Pakistan where I worked in Microbiology lab. I learnt about biotic and abiotic stress of plants and its management by potential rhizobacteria and explored Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria. Along with bacteria I am also working on necrotrophic fungus Macrophomina phaseolina and screening the Mungbean and soyabean germplasm against this fungus under both pot and field experiments. After that I transferred at Plant Genomic Lab, National Institute for Genomics & Advanced Biotechnology (NIGAB). Where I explored the Genomic techniques such as, DNA/RNA extraction, CRISPER Cas9 genome editing, gene transformation, DNA finger printing and Next Generation Sequencing. This field make me more fascinated and enthusiastic to learn more. I have learned many new techniques in Plant breeding such as emasculation, Crossing and Germplasm screening both under pot and field experiments that have motivated me to take admission in Plant breeding or Genomics. Additionally, I am working at the seed health lab of Fungus and Bacteria. It motivated me to learn and explore many more scientific miracles of plant sciences and its interaction to manage the environmental problems related to plants for sustainable agriculture by using Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria and genomic cutting-edge opportunities to explore research and education in the field. I want to learn new techniques that increase my expertise and knowledge.
