As a Quality Assurance Specialist in the DCMA at Aircraft Propulsion Operation (APO) - Rolls Royce Indianapolis IN, I have highly contributed to the agency overall mission, with the quality assurance experiences under my belt, I volunteered to act as the training coordinator for the entire Aircraft Propulsion Operation Quality Assurance Team of ten and have also actively assisted fellow employees with training applications and with completing required fulfillment documents. In addition, I have scheduled bi-monthly training sessions for the Quality Team, ensuring the latest policy and procedures are reviewed, and assisted my supervisor preparing language for incorporation into facility and individual Surveillance Plans. I also have sought out training engagement opportunities for My QA team, and recently facilitated team participation in a Rolls-Royce engine familiarity course taught to Rolls-Royce’s employees and to civil aviation maintenance technicians. In addition, working with my mentor and other QA Specialist's, I developed and improved the methodology for tracking contractor reported nonconformances. These improvements are critical to the next step in Materiel Review Board reductions, and help with Aircraft Propulsion Operation quality adherence to the latest DCMA non-conforming material policy. I have served as the “second set of eyes” on inspections of 250-C30R3 engines for Army OH-58 Kiowa helicopters, AE1107C engines for the multi-service V-22 Osprey aircraft, and K-34 generators used in Arleigh Burke Destroyers. I participate in inspections on product valued at over $17M each month all critical production supporting deterrence and Warfighting missions world-wide! My “can-do” attitude, coupled with My results-minded performance has been outstanding in every respect, and make me most deserving of the special recognition inherent in my selection for the DCMA Aircraft Propulsion Operations Igniter Award for November 2012.

Establish and maintain with 100% accuracy the Depot Master Property Record for all accountable equipment including Capital assets over 200 million dollars. Manage and handle as a Hand Receipt Manager more than 100 Cost Centers across the Depot with an Intensive management of suspense for monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories for all properties include Weapons and Ammunition to comply with Department of Army Regulations, Policies and procedures Contribute to improve procedures in support of inter-related supply programs and operations, Work with high professionalism in directs contact with the installation commander and Directors of organizations in performance of Commander’s Property Accountability Walk-through. Work closely with the depot Installation property book officer in reinforcement of the Command Supply Discipline program across the Depot.. Act as a central point of contact and exchange of information for all Hand receipt holders, personnel of supply, production, maintenance, TDA coordinator and other organizations relative to material and Equipment accountability. Use an intensive automation database such as DPAS (Defense Property Accountability System), eFEM (The electronic Facilities and Equipment Maintenance), to research, compile and input data from a variety of equipment record and report. Coordinate independently action leading to identification, cataloging, procurement, maintenance, or disposal of items through the Depot. Oversee and control property accounting procedures involving Requisitions, Stock Records, Storage, Distribution, Audits, Supply Locator System, and Supply Safety and Security Operations. Determine stock levels, conduct inventories. Maintain specialized Property Book Accounts and records and update databases.Offer exceptional customer service and assist customers, storage depots, and other organizational representatives.
