Program Manager – Diaspora Skills Initiative• Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines. • Acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members in order to deliver the project/program objective according to plan. • Define project scope, goals and delivery that support our project/program goals in collaboration with principals and respective ministry.• Develop full-scale project plans and archive project documents and communications.• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members, principals in clear manner.• Communicate with principals and minister on ongoing basis.• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommendation for budget.• Develop and deliver project status reports, proposal, required documentation and presentations.• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

• Cultivate and nurture relationships with current and potential corporate & foundation sponsors in Washington DC area for and beyond the special event; • Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations; • • Write letters of inquiry, grant proposals and necessary reports to corporate, foundation, and individual funders; • Help create and execute a strategy for a large sustained base of annual individual donors ; • Help diversify and further develop the funding base for the program; • Perform other related duties and special projects as requested by the UNHCR. Implement fundraising strategy, in line with the income strategy, to secure regular committed funding from corporate, trusts and locals. Lead and direct the local fundraising team.
