I have multi-product experience in leather, jersey, knit and woven garments and have worked extensively with accessories. Senior TechnicianHenne Jun 2022 - PresentMelbourne, Victoria, Australia- Sourced a professional dressmaker’s dummy for the brand – mannequins were not being used at the time. - Changed garment shapes overall and improved workmanship for a more Morden and European style. - Action a lot of tailoring finishes and set brand standards.- Set new base size measurements and conducted a casting for a fit model the fit the required measure.- Brought grading back in-house and created a Henne grading bible for all suppliers to follow. ( factories were grading themselves which created inconsistencies in fits)- Organised and conducted a fit review. We had models of each size in the size run and we reviewed 12 styles in half a day. I created a fit review doc with learnings and actionable next steps. - Implemented wearer testing and supplier testing. - Mentored design assistant. - Started sending fit videos to the factory every week, sending them videos of the garments on the stand to talk them through fit comments. - Sent factories pinned samples. - Drape and cut samples to achieve better fit results.- Worked with the marketing lead to make a TikTok video on how to change old jeans into a skirt.
