Position broadened to include working with the executive team in strategic plans and future goals and implementing directives and objectives throughout the entire company (mirrored from a balance scorecard system). Expectations include identifying and reviewing all departmental processes; analyzing or identifying areas of concerns; developing programs or process improvements with department managers for improved effectiveness; proposing and/or implementing the programs; developing measurement analysis to determine effectiveness; presenting evaluation findings to senior management; overseeing general daily operations; special projects and initiatives; and continuing to oversee all HR activities as listed below.

Responsibilities included personnel, facility and safety department development and company policy development; dissemination of all policies throughout the entire company; employee relations functions, training and advisory role for department managers; directing all interviewing, hiring and orientation of new employees; coordinating semi-monthly and weekly payrolls through ADP; managing and implementing all employee benefits; organizing, administering and maintaining safety programs, policies and records; maintaining and managing all personnel records; counseling and coaching employees, supervisors and managers; coordinating commercial insurance package; and supervising the reception area.
