To manage the smooth implementation in the market of centrally produced Marketing development initiatives.• To propose and implement development initiatives that address performance shortfalls to ensure the Marketing organisation achieves marketing excellence.• To ensure predetermined progress and quality of all development programs are implemented to ensure that Marketing Skills Development objectives are met in full in terms of any additional development programs• To facilitate the induction of new incumbents as per program.• To assist line management in the area of on-the-job skills development.• To assess employee development effectiveness through assessment of BAT development modules, locally produced development programs and the degree of performance improvement amongst Marketing Field Force in order to provide amendments and solutions• To facilitate and manage programs to enhance Marketing Field Force on the use of systems and reporting solutions as a relationship builder in making our people more professional and efficient:- Sales Force & Ivy• To facilitate and manage initiatives to enhance the functional competencies of the Marketing Field Force:- Retail Classification System- Trade Investments- B2B Programs- Inventory Management- Merchandising Guidelines- Portfolio Strategy• The development and facilitation of:- Company Induction for Reps and Managers- Role specific Training (Sales, Trade Marketing, Horeca, Indirect)- Selling and Negotiation Training (incl. role plays)- Product and Brands Training- Systems Training (Sales/Field Force related systems)- Theory and system assessments- Field Force Learning Program- Route To Market Projects• Any functional business requirement training or up skilling.
