    Tribumaker was born driven by a bold business hypothesis: "What if we create an educational platform focused on the Maker niche and offer them a lot of Value?" What I am most proud to tell you is that my co-founder was one of my first students (4 years ago) at Ultrabot.In 2020 we brought the MVP of the platform to life using WordPress and we began attracting the first students to the platform.I also start looking for new professionals to boost the LTV of the clients who had already placed their trust in us.In 2021, we secured investment from Startup-Chile. With these resources we expanded our marketing team, experimented with innovative approaches to attract audience and optimize our CAC costs.Finally in 2022, we reached our predetermined deadline. If we didn't meet the KPI we had set two years earlier the project had to conclude. And unfortunately that's what happened :(Invaluable lessons I take away from this experience:1. Executing the full Lean Startup methodology cycle for the first time. Along the way, we pivoted three times to find the most suitable revenue model to achieve the break-even point.2. Managing a team of 10 people located in different parts of the world. Our company was fully remote, with a team spanning Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Paraguay, and Uruguay.3. Securing funding from a renowned public accelerator, and understanding its implications. Every expenditure had to be justified, approved by a BizDev, and documented with receipts proving its execution. This experience also enabled us to connect with other startups in similar stages.4. Innovating in learning methodologies, both synchronous and asynchronous. We transitioned from a 10% completion rate for online courses to achieving 70%. Our best results were attained with the Cohort-based Courses approach, which included recorded classes, weekly live sessions, personalized follow-up via WhatsApp, and a closing event where each student presented their final project.

    Following my educational experience at Educabot, I decided to embark on another entrepreneurial venture. This time with a stronger focus on addressing a pressing issue I identified in my city: Schools were expressing a demand for educational robotics, yet lacked the knowledge and capacity to offer such services.This marked the birth of Ultrabot, driven by the mission to provide various solutions to this challenge:1. Engaging Robotic content delivery: We have become experts in bringing dynamic and entertaining robotics content to students of all ages. From kindergarten to the older ones who were about to enter the University.2. In-House Robotics kits: We designed and made our own robotics kits, which were then purchased by parents and students.3. Teachers training and deployment: We trained and send qualified robotics instructors to schools.4. End-to-End administration: We handled all aspects of enrollment, billing, and parent relations.Effectively, we catered to three categories of clients within the same service:a) The Student: Our main user, they left each workshop with an experience similar to a birthday party.b) Parents: Monthly, parents received a book of photos and videos showcasing their children working, engaging in STEAM projects, and enjoying time with friends.c) Schools: Our partnership allowed schools to proudly offer the Educational Robotics program on their campusI eventually sold the company to my co-founder and embarked on a year-long backpacking journey through Europe.

This experience afforded me the opportunity to impart knowledge and cultivate students' interest in fundamental technological and creative areas for the future. A notable accomplishment in this role was conceiving a course from scratch, assuming content production, and serving as the instructor who delivered it.
