Konstantina Tzemou is an architect and urbanist based in Basel, Switzerland. Her expertise lies in city-making, primarily on urban resilience, climate change adaptation and on the landscape of infrastructure as a driver for urbanization. Konstantina shares strong passion about cities, both as systems and as places, and explores policy and design propositions in a multidisciplinary and integrated approach.Alongside professional practice, Konstantina has served as Research Associate on issues of urban growth, housing and infrastructure at Harvard University under the auspices of The David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies. She regularly serves as guest critic for studio reviews at the AA, Columbia University GSAPP and University of Virginia School of Architecture. She holds a Diploma in Architecture Engineering from University of Patras, Greece with distinction, and a Masters of Architecture in Urban Design with distinction from Harvard University, where she received the Award for Academic Excellence in Urban Design.
