The Standard closed-end fund experience triggered me to develop the innovative ‘Seven Values” business model. After liquidation, I organized €180k private placement in 2011, in the mid of the financial crisis in order to research, identify and create projects to invest in. This was the beginning of our techno-genesis innovation strategy, which led to the creation of NESICON.

Supported MedSec's vision to penetrate EU market and developed key relationship with the first partner hospital to test and deploy the product in beta stage. Have organized an agile marketing plan to launch in EU once testing is complete.

I had the financial oversight of the joint venture structuring of Microdata with two Chinese companies, Yantai Dongfang Information Electronics and Hexing Electrical that was formed to bid for the 39.5million euros Installation of Telemetering System for low voltage of the Greek Public Power Corporation in accordance with Directive 2004/17/EC.

I was one of the founders of Standard Investments to serve 88 stockholders. It was a $14.7 million widely dispersed closed-end fund licensed to become floated in the Athens Stock Exchange, as the larger shareholder owned 5% of shares. In 5 years the company suffered $9 million in accumulated losses. It was then that I campaigned successfully with the 88 shareholders to win their vote to overturn the management. I managed to turnaround the company into profitable in bear markets distributed a $0.15 dividend per share ($735K earnings distribution) in 2005, cleared its portfolio, and was involved in acquisition negotiations with 3 floated companies. It was then that I realized the embedded Greek market inefficiencies that led to the crisis and managed to have a 7 months neat liquidation process that protected us from the 2008 global crisis. All this experience was the impetus for the “7 values” agency risk management concept development.

Established and led Standard Brokerage firm licensed on the Athens Stock Exchange (3 Million Euro Share Capital). Although we were the 82nd Brokerage firm and we started operations one month after the beginning of the downfall in values, we managed to create a 7,500 direct customers base in an 18 months period and an EBITDA result (1st fiscal year) of 2,6 million ( with an initial share capital of 3million euros). All of the above gave me the opportunity to commence talks with the Greek Popular bank that produced a proposal to acquire a 70% stake in our shares for $ 14.7 million. My proposal was not accepted by the majority of the General Assembly. Eventually, I moved on in September 2001.

Conducted the feasibility study of the introduction of factoring in Greece that was eventually sold to Banks by the company’s management.
