Utilizing my (many) years’ experience in the Dutch market and the good customer relationship, I was assigned the role of ICT Operations Director in the newly, back in 2018, established INTRALOT Benelux BV, keeping as well my existing at that time role at Intralot Netherlands as Operations Director. Challenging enough since I had to set up a Dev-Ops team (8FTE) of highly skilled people, that is responsible for the operation of a twenty-four hour, seven day a week, on-line transaction processing system that hosts the gaming systems of our client. At the same time maintain the smooth operation of Intralot Netherlands, the scope of which was gradually phased out by March 2021.

Driving operational excellence, maximizing the value of the asset base while ensuring a tight control on operational costs. Responsible for monitoring and continuously improving standards of performance and quality within international operation standards (WLA ISO 27001, ISAE 3402 certified).Duties:▪ Managing a team of 35 employees, comprised by Application Operators, System Engineers, Service Delivery Managers and Incident Managers, in a 24/7 work environment. ▪ Consulting in organizing Help Desk Centers for proper Technical Field Support, meeting strict SLAs and customizing CRM-Oracle Siebel application per project needs. ▪ Establishing and implementing departmental policies, goals, objectives.▪ Encouraging, identifying and developing best practices strategy within my team.▪ Preparing monthly SLA reports relating to the performance of the organization and recommend corrective actions when problems arise.▪ Leading and directing all Information Technology activities in the region/local organization to ensure optimum systems efficiency.▪ Being the primary liaison contact person with the Headquarters in Athens for the key Operational Activities, maintaining regular written and in-person communications with the company’s management team.▪ Being the operational key person and primary business point of contact towards our Dutch clients and subcontractors, ensuring the full alignment between the provider and the customer.▪ Being responsible for the hiring of, management and the appraisal of the staff required to support the operation. ▪ Being responsible for the entire Release Management Life cycle (analyzing, sizing, costing, scheduling and deploying).▪ Being part of the company’s Management committee, Risk and Incident assessment committee.

Responsible for client progress meetings on site, managing customer expectations and coordinating the involved resources. Also having worked closely with other departmental managers to promote overall company effectiveness.Duties:▪ Ensuring Project is executed using agreed standards & processes.▪ Reviewing and approving all project documentation. ▪ Resolving any problems and issues that arose within the course of the project, making sure on time deliveries.▪ Preparing status reports for use in communication to stakeholders. ▪ Escalating issues and areas of concern to senior managers. ▪ Generating Work Packages and Work Instructions. ▪ Providing project support for all on site activities.

Accountable for managing the delivery of critical projects (Turkey, Argentina, Holland, Brazil), and for providing managerial support for key projects conducted by the company. Also responsible for providing monthly financial and technical updates of any known issues/risks to Senior Manager.Duties:▪ Responsible for costing, estimating and planning projects.▪ Preparing Project Initiation documentation.▪ Maintaining and completing Project Key Performance Indicators.▪ Writing detailed and summarized project progress reports.▪ Identifying, costing and processing any contract variations.▪ Tracking activities against the detailed project plans.▪ Updating project plans to include agreed changes.▪ Organising and facilitating Project Steering / Operating Committees meetings.

Assigned at Eurofootball (Sports Betting Operation) in Bulgaria, being responsible for the contractual obligations and assisting Eurofootball’s CEO on the operational tasks and new projects (implementation of the first Live Betting Environment in Bulgaria, and the first Telephone Betting Platform).Duties:▪ Identifying, costing and processing demanding contract variation.▪ Responsible for the Release Management of the new System Functionalities.▪ Responsible Incident manager ensuring proper and on time resolution of the incidents within the agreed SLA.▪ Responsible for ensuring best value is obtained for the project including supplier base, use of internal and external resources.

Part of a team analysing new markets and preparing the Technical response on international RFP’s. Also responsible for working with in-house development teams in a fast moving environment to deliver projects on time and on budget.Duties:▪ Analysing new markets for potential new business opportunities on the gaming sector (Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina).▪ Preparation of technical responses on international RFPs (Hungary, Egypt, Turkey).▪ Managing existing Corporate Accounts having direct interaction with the customer (Bulgaria, FYROM).▪ Managing project dependencies, preparing project briefs, compiling reports and maintaining records.▪ Ensuring that all stakeholders are up-to-date and up to speed with developments.▪ Helping project teams to move through the various stages and decision points of a program.▪ Developing and maintaining relationships with third party vendors.▪ Helping clients meet and exceed their goals.▪ Maintaining credibility with the customer at a high level.

Being a member of the mobile cellular coverage team, analysing the cellular performance, design new antenna installations (indoor and outdoor) and provide 2nd level of Support to Vodafone’s Customer Care Centre Duties:▪ Responsible for validating the site configuration in the field during the technical site survey visits and preparing the Technical Site Survey reports.▪ Analysing site performance after integration through drive test measurements and OSS measurements, detecting eventual problems and recommending changes to fixing those problems.▪ Responsible for the design and implementation of the Radio Coverage in two of the Athens Olympic Games constructions, for Vodafone mobile network (Attika Road, Athens International Airport – Indoor Coverage).

Being a member of the Transmission Support team.Duties:▪ Perform preventive maintenance and optimisation in accordance with company equipment specifications.▪ Carry out reactive maintenance on all network equipment, including faults analysis, restoration and resolution. ▪ Escalate faults to central help desk if their contribution is needed for timely restoration or final resolution.▪ Work in conjunction with Subcontractors’ team in analysing and resolving all issues pertaining to the inter-working and integration of the Transport Network. ▪ Perform network element deployment, migration and re-parenting, parameter changes, software and hardware changes, functionality activations and all necessary configurations. ▪ Liaise with field teams to solve installation related issues.
