I graduated from UMIST having obtained a BEng Chemical Engineering. I continued my postgraduate studies at the University of Cardiff, UK where I obtained a MBA. In 2005, I became a member of ICAEW (#9140748) having completed the ACA courses. Upon my return to Cyprus, I had the chance to work for reputable firms where I obtained extensive experience in the area of financial and business management. I am an action and client-oriented, highly educated senior level finance professional with blend of experience in leading multinationals, public listed organisations as well as in entrepreneurial environments. I combine strong functional leadership to motivate staff for peak performance with team player qualities liaising senior management teams to drive top and bottom-line growth.In 2008, I established Vertu Projects Ltd, a consulting and advisory firm which offers-inter alia-consulting and fund licensing services along with my personal investment endeavors. Being a founder director at Vertu Projects Ltd I was given the opportunity to get in touch with high-net-worth individuals who were exploring solutions on how to invest their funds to obtain optimum return. I also acquired vast experience in setting up and administering various types of funds and fund managers in Cyprus, Luxemburg, Gibraltar, Jersey, BVI, Cayman, Mauritius and India. Moreover, I am aware of the reporting obligations that a fund/fund manager has to comply with, and I stand ready to assist the client with all matters that may come up in the process of setting up or administering a fund/ fund manager especially in the alternative investment fund space either in private equity investments or private debt vehicles. My experience span from greenfield infrastructure and alternative energy projects to real estate funds and venture capital for SaaS models or Fintech. Lately, as Impactus Group partner, my interests involve alternative investments with infrastructure characteristics that help diversify returns and provide long-term cash flows, as well as carbon emission allowances, less tied to economic cycles that serve to hedge inflation.Finally, my level of experience in financial services, motivated me to undertake the CySEC Advanced and AML Examination and subsequently became exams instructor, teaching the regulatory and financial services framework under the Cyprus laws and EU Directives.
