I come from Thessaloniki, Greece. I am married and proud father of a daughter. I love music, movies and spending time with my family.I hold a BSc on Informatics Engineering from the Alexander Technological Education Institute of Thessaloniki (ATEITh) and an MSc on Applied Informatics with major on Computer Systems from the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki. Currently, I am a Doctoral Student at the Hellenic Open University.I have published several conference papers, two book chapters and performed various presentations about Computer Science & European projects. I have been a member of the national working group about the preparation of the curricula and teaching material for the subjects of Vocational High Schools' speciality of Computer Science, while I co-authored the lecture notes for the topic “Design and Development of Websites”.I am appointed by the Greek state as an Informatics' Teacher at the Vocational School of Axioupolis. For two years I was seconded to “Tele-education” and “Disabled Students Support and e-Accessibility” Offices of ATEITh. I had also worked as a Telecommunications Engineer for Panafon-Vodafone Greece for two and a half years.In 2016 I attended the professional development training program for administrators “Exploring Access and Equity in U.S. Education and Society” at the California State University in Chico, after being awarded a full scholarship by the Fulbright Foundation Greece. The program is part of the “Study of the U.S. Institute for Secondary Educators” sponsored by the US Department of State’s Bureau of Educational & Cultural Affairs.From Jun-2016 to Dec-2017 I was a member of the “Computer Technology Institute & Press Diophantus” for the project “UMI-Sci-Ed: Exploiting Ubiquitous Computing, Mobile Computing and the Internet of Things to promote Science Education” (Horizon 2020 Framework Programme).I am an accredited adults' trainer, speak Greek, English, and a bit of German. Moreover, I can read and write in Greek Braille language.
