working as an intern at heamatology department: I'm able to work on 100 samples a day in 6 hours by performing all the necessary heamatological test ,preparation of film comment ,thick film for malaria parasite,microscopy,HB electrophoresis etc.I have also worked at chemical pathology department: I was able to receive 70-100 samples a day ,enter all their information on a computer,perform electrolytes test and perform all the other necessary chemistry test and deliver patients report at the required time without any confusion.I have also worked at the blood bank; Receiving samples and issuing of blood at the blood bank reception,performing blood groupings and cross matching,going for blood donation in various institutions and schools in Asante region.I have worked at the histoparthology department,good customer service at the reception,receiving samples and entry of data,attending to patients calls ,calling them for their report,explaining of complex issues to them to bring understanding using either twi or English.processing of grossed tissues,performing of tissue embedding,staining and mounting histology slides,preparation of cytology slides,staining and mounting for microscopy.I have worked at the parasitology department,receiving samples,entry of patients data,performing urine R/E and stool R/E,performing microscopy and giving out patients report.
