As a part-time stitcher, I am able to utilize over 20 years of sewing experience in a fun and creative way! Primarily, the designers assign new costume construction, alterations, repairs and embellishments as needed. Once in a while I also assist in taking measurements and pulling costumes. This position is fulfilling and interesting and still allows me lots of time with my young son.

Born out of a love for Board Games and all things 'geeky', my partner and I formed Castle Games and Goods. With hopes of opening a retail and social center for the hobby, we currently provide community game days and facilitation of a board game club locally. As a fully licensed auto insurance agent in 48 states, I was responsible for assisting clients in the acquisition of a policy to protect their classic or collectible vehicles. Customer service was the upmost priority and knowledge was key in this position. Here I developed skills that enabled quick gathering of resources and information to answer all sorts of questions and concerns from clients. The ability to multitask and maintain a conversational attentiveness to the customer was the most rewarding aspect of this position.

As a smaller establishment, my experience as a front desk agent was pushed even farther. At this location, often times the front desk staff are responsible for the complete comfort and needs of the guests, from security to laundry services. Working at the Express helped me to understand the entirety of what is necessary to run a hotel. It also taught me to think on my feet and consider the overall well being of the establishment in everything I did. The down home feel and relationships were a special treat as well. With regular customers, I was able to provide excellent service and make those guests feel at home.

The first experience as a guest is often times the most important. Upon arrival they must feel relaxed and welcome. This was my privilege to provide while working as a front desk agent. This position taught me to respect and understand people and their needs. Multi-tasking was a key component to this position and allowed me to perfect my time management and efficiency skills in order to best serve the guests and my fellow co-workers.
