As a Coordinator within the Transformations, Acquisitions, and Projects team, I am responsible for the operational coordination and execution of various projects within Fletcher Hotels. This includes overseeing construction and renovation projects, transforming hotel concepts, and managing acquisitions. Additionally, I lead crisis management projects ("Fever to Favor") and a range of annual operational initiatives.A key aspect of my role involves coordinating the deployment of all-round hotel managers and department heads at the cluster level, ensuring optimal resource allocation and collaboration to achieve project objectives. With a hybrid working model, I manage projects both in the Netherlands and Germany, working closely with different departments and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion

Being the largest hotel chain in the Netherlands, Fletcher Hotels boasts more than 5,000 colleagues taking care of the guests and ensure that they have everything they need. We do this together from our more than 110 hotels and from the head office in Nieuwegein.My work is varied and unique. In my role as Coördinator Operational Support, I tackle operational issues for our hotels or the chain on a project basis. I provide the bridge between all Fletcher Hotels locations and the head office. In my role I am the backbone of operational director Ben de Ruijter and I take on tasks such as assessing rolling forecasts, taking the lead in organizing events, take on ongoing projects and I accompany our director when visiting hotels or new acquisitions.

Within Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Wings-Rotterdam and Fletcher Hotel Airport-Rotterdam, together with a great team, I was responsible for the daily operation of the Food & Beverage department.Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Wings-Rotterdam is located near the bustling city center of Rotterdam. This modern hotel has 137 comfortable rooms and is the perfect location for a city trip to explore the city of Rotterdam. With an attractive à la carte restaurant with a terrace, an events hangar adjacent to Rotterdam The Hague Airport, where events for up to 1000 people are held, and an additional 42 event and meeting rooms, this hotel has a lot of diversity to offer.

Within Fletcher Hotels Nautisch Kwartier in Huizen, together with a great team I was responsible for the daily operation of the Riva wine lounge, shared dining restaurant Marina Lounge, Pasta restaurant Laguna, 10 beautiful meeting rooms and event location De Kalkovens.The hotel in Huizen is located at the old harbor, directly at the Gooimeer lake. The modern hotel has 80 luxurious rooms where guests have a beautiful view over the lake.

With the main focus on the regions North-Brabant & Limburg, I am mainly responsible for acquiring new businesses on the platform and making sure they become fully onboard.

Leading a team of approximately 25 employees, my main responsibilities include ensuring daily service, handling administrative tasks, and overseeing new projects related to the Food & Beverage department. Additionally, I am responsible for the monthly schedule, orders, stock control, and personnel management.

As a management trainee, I worked closely with the Operations Manager with responsibility for 5 departments (Front-office, Housekeeping, Banqueting, MICE and Technology). I was given this opportunity through the trust built up during my previous experience with Thon Hotels in 2014. With my graduation project, I gained expertise in sustainable innovation, in correlation with the profit and image of Thon Hotels Brussels (5 hotels).

Chosen as captain by my fellow students, I was responsible for the recruitment of future students, sales and promotion of the International Fast Track programme. During this period, I also co-organized and supervised the summer school. I was a representative at schools and fairs in the Netherlands to promote the IFT program. Presenting in front of large groups, giving guided tours and organizing a summer school are now part of my expertise. Compared to the year 2016, I contributed to a 40% increase in registrations.

Fine dining according to the etiquette of the two-star restaurant. To my skills I can add latte art, wine and food pairing, explaining of each item and the A to Z service, I have taken product knowledge, professionalism and always going for the utmost result as key take-aways from this experience.

Broken Sound is a members-only 5-star platinum country club with 2 18-hole golf courses and 24 tennis courts. A club where you have to build up your status as a staff member, where I started as an assistant service employee. After a week I immediately received the appreciation and I was crowned service employee. After a month I was given the opportunity to become assistant dining room manager / special events coordinator. My responsibility was setting up and breaking down the special events, monitoring the service for members, making floor plans, making schedules, training the staff and communicating with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage director.

As service employee at Restaurant Hole 19 at Cromstrijen Golf Club, I ensured excellent service and hospitality in a dynamic environment.
