Complex web app frontend problems solved:*Major Performance Increase*The aggregate score of the 3 audits, at the time, that composed Google's "Core Web Vitals Assessment" had been increased from approx. 50 to above 90, therefore passing. (checked at 23/01/2022)*Multiple Nuxt Entrypoint Support*I had the leading role in specifying the multi-Nuxt-entrypoint and code-sharing-enabling build process and file structure used across multiple web apps such as Car.gr or Plot.gr.*IoC Container Integration*In terms of architectural change complexity, it has to be the integration of a dependency injection container across the entirety of the Nuxt web app. A factor that somewhat imposed a separate dimension of complexity is the fact that code execution is shared across client and server due to the server-side renderer, adding the requirement of prohibition of resolved object leaks across requests. Also, a set of dependency resolution utilities had been developed to reduce boilerplate in the recurring task of invoking resolutions in components and functions.*Partitioned Collection Data Structure*I've also created a partitioned collection data structure that bypasses Vuex's state property update call-stack error occurring at minimum for larger than ~11k recursive calls and used it in a particular seller feature requiring a partitioned map. It is stored as Vuex state on a subset of keys whose values are treated as memory slots of limited capacity so that recursive calls never exceed the limit. MODA, at the time, was an accessible RNA sequence multi-omic analysis tool.- Designed and implemented the bulk of the backend and some frontend features.- Led backend code reviews and merges (conflict-resolution) meticulously.- Continuously implemented unit tests for submitted backend features and evangelized testing across the team.- Led DevOps and co-designed the deployment process. Composed effective and accessible documentation for the process and the architecture, which was applied to other company projects too.Footnote: had the joy to work with and be on close communication with gifted and ambitious teammates from the US, which made the overall development process amazing.
