CurrentProject Resource Analyst under 8X (Earth Science and Technology Directorate).Formed in 1936, the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory is a research and development lab federally funded by NASA and managed by Caltech. JPL helped open the Space Age by developing America's first Earth-orbiting science satellite, creating the first successful interplanetary spacecraft, and sending robotic missions to the solar system.The Project Controls Section provides project cost control, planning, and analysis support to JPL’s programs and projects. The responsibility of the Earth Science Missions Office is to manage and direct all functions and activities necessary to successfully conduct the mission operations phases of Earth science flight projects assigned by NASA to JPL.Current projects consist of: - Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP)- Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER)- Multi-angle Imaging SpectroRadiometer (MISR)- ECOsystem Spaceborne Thermal Radiometer Experiment on Space Station (ECOSTRESS)- Constellation Observing System for Meteorology, Ionosphere, and Climate-2 (COSMIC-2)- EOS- UNITY
