As a research assistant, I worked with Prof Balaji Prabhakar at Stanford on the design and implementation of network switches and wireless scheduling algorithms. As part of a three person team from Stanford, we also consulted Luminous Networks, a startup on the deployment of traffic management algorithms for high speed switches.

+ Conceptualized, architected, designed and implemented a GPRS packet forwarding engine using the IBM Power PC platform. + Product was commercialized and sold to Nokia and Erricson for their base stations in certain deployments in Europe. + Part of the IBM Extreme Blue team that is selected from a global search of students from top Universities for an internship focussed on taking product from idea to commercialization.

Designed algorithms for Layer 3 packet forwarding on the Intel IXP 1200 platform.The startup was acquired by ARC Technologies and later by Synopsis

- Consulted Fortune 500 customers on large scale system integration IT projects. - Managed a development team of 10 in building a database system for the Public Health Department of Pittsburgh and for the Health Department, State of New York.

Executive Assistant to the KRESIT (Kanwal Rekhi School of IT) project. This was a school being constructed in IIT Bombay and I was entrusted with the project management.
