I'm an experienced programmer with a background in web development, media, electronics and the internet in general. I like to work on challenging projects in which my skill set is fully utilized. After my studies I worked at Axxes nv as a Java consultant where I got to develop enterprise software for Truvo. After one year with the client, I was in charge of the frontend team, and we were using agile techniques to take the Belgian Yellow pages website into the 21st century.While I already became a freelancer in 2013, I made it official in 2015 I started my own company with two colleagues.The past 6 years, I was part of the creative agency called UNDEFINED. My role as co-founder was coming up with concepts, ideas and developing responsive web applications based on leading edge web technologies like Angular, React (Next & Gatsby), Ionic and NodeJS.Aside from WordPress backed websites, I’ve tackled creating interactive real-time control dashboards for industrial applications but also for live streams. During the first and second wave of the pandemic, we created an entire live-streaming platform for leading cultural centers like Arenberg Antwerp and KVS Brussels. We came up with a ping pong concept called King Of pong, where we invented our own version of the game. Mad table designs and bizarre rules. We traveled many events and festivals with this concept. In 2018, we started a creative/cultural hub called Onder Stroom. The place is inhabited by like-minded entrepreneurs and artists. I would like to describe myself as a creative developer with affinity for experimentation, crossing the borders of classic programming with a thirst for innovation and learning. I’m a technically skilled problem solver with a passion for technology in an eclectic field of work.
