I applied for and received $168,000 in Covid-19 grants, bursaries, and loans from 6 funding sources over 15 months of Covid-19 shutdown.I was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the league while supporting the MMSL Board.I co-founded the Soccer for Peace charity tournament with 36 corporate and community-based partners, comprising 432 players, 80+ volunteers, and 50+ games within 1 year. Tournament retained a profit of $15,000.00 though cancelled due to Covid-19. $5,000.00 seeded the new MMSL Dignity Bursary for low-income players, while $10,000.00 went to support a league refugee team.I co-created a yearly schedule of events to support ongoing fundraising activities, including Soccer for Peace tournament, Draft Day high school recruiting showcase, e-sports tournaments, professional soccer league viewing parties, and the inaugural MMSL Speaker series in addition to both indoor and outdoor playing seasons.
