As a proud woman of the Wiradjuri Nation, I've been shaped by the lands of Ngunnawal and Gadigal Country, where my roots run deep. My journey in education began with completing my HSC, followed by a Diploma in Children Services and a bachelor's degree in Adult Education, with a focus on Aboriginal studies, from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). For the past 25 years, Queensland has been my home.My Aboriginal heritage is the cornerstone of my identity, a legacy of resilience and pride passed down by my father. Despite the hardships he endured, including early family separation, 'stolen generation' he instilled in us the richness of our culture through art, music, dance, and storytelling. With over two decades of dedicated service to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities', I've collaborated across sectors, from education to government, corporate enterprises, and social initiatives. My commitment has always been to create opportunities for my people in education and employment, forging meaningful partnerships rooted in our cultural values and providing guidance on supportive frameworks. Now, drawing on my vast experience and fueled by a passion to uplift my community, I've launched my own company Link2Nation Pty Ltd. This platform allows me to pursue my passion for connecting businesses, consulting on Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs) and Indigenous Procurement Policies (IPPs), developing frameworks for Community well-being, and showcasing the incredible talent and businesses of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples'. This is my purpose, driving me forward every day. 'Walk with me, Talk with me'. I'll take you where you want to go.
