Mr. Korley is the President CEO of KORLEY Engineering Consultants LLC in the New York/New Jersey Metro area. He is an experienced Bridge & Building Structural Engineer with more than 31 years of experience providing design and project management services for clients including the New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT), New York City Transit (NYCT), the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority (TBTA), and the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). He recently was the structural task leader in the pursuit of the $5.2 Billion Design/Build Bid competition for the Tappan Zee Hudson River Crossing Project to replace the existing Tappan Zee Bridge. He has experience directing the analysis and design of complex bridge design projects, including replacement bridges over waterways, highways, and railway tracks, and he led the $450 million replacement of the upper roadway deck of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and the $900 million replacement of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Mr. Korley is a seismic analyst and design specialist for complex and conventional bridges, and he has extensive experience in steel, concrete, and cable structures as well as seismic isolation of bridges. He has been responsible for supervising the design of substructures, such as reinforced concrete columns and drilled shaft foundations, as well as superstructure steel girders and integral steel cap-beams of bridges. Mr. Korley is proficient in writing technical proposals and has excellent presentation skills. He is also adept in preparing and controlling project budgets, schedules, staffing, and producing deliverables for the timely completion of projects in accordance with client standards.
