The overarching objective of the Project specifically in the District Heating area - to facilitate the development of efficient and sustainable DH systems in Ukraine, which will bring affordable, quality service to consumers and contribute to global efforts to reduce emissions.- Focusing strategic attitude at the policy level;- Enhancing the development of DH networks and systems based on cities' spatial development planning and complex DH investment planning; - Enabling demand-side management;- Facilitating regulatory environment supportive to DH transformation;- Supporting partner municipalities.

Power industry studies on country basis and regional basis (MENA, SEA; Ancillary Services framework development and assistance (MENA); Technical support for projects on restructuring vertically integrated entities, enhancing wholesale competition, providing third party access, frameworks for distributed generation and renewable generation, digital energy, long-term investment, regulatory frameworks (MENA, SEA).
