I am a Clinical Project Manager at MED Institute. I manage clinical projects from development to close out. We are a small but mighty team. Since I have been at MED Institute I have received extensive training in clinical research and design, GCP, clinical regulations, project management, quality systems, scientific writing, study monitoring, and teamwork. Additionally, I have gained experience writing study protocols, CRFs, informed consents, study documents, training presentations, clinical evaluation reports and post-market studies. I have also assisted in initiating, closing, and periodically monitoring different studies. I have earned my Essential Skills certificate from the American Medical Writer's Association and will be pursuing the Clinical Research Professionals certification from SOCRA in the near future. I completed my Ph.D in biochemistry at Purdue University. My thesis work focused on drug-resistant mechanisms of human fungal pathogens. As the senior member of my lab for 5+ years, I was in charge of day-to-day lab management including mentoring, budgeting, managing vendors, and ordering supplies. I have exceptional presentation skills and enjoy building relationships and working with others. I am excellent at time management and am passionate about clinical research, teaching, and experimental design.While at Purdue, I won several research and travel grants, but I am most proud of earning the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award for the College of Agriculture in 2019.
