I started working back in high school and have had a few jobs over the years. I learned certain skills while in school and within the jobs I had. Each helped me put those skills into practice, while also further advancing them. I’m a great critical thinker and a big team leader. I’m always asking questions and open to hearing ideas from others to help get to a solution. I have worked in many retail and fast food settings, each teaching me how to really communicate with not only my customers but my coworkers. I believe the best results come from a sound understanding of one another and the respect you give to everyone within the workspace. While attending some college courses I had to learn time management and self discipline in order to meet deadlines, while also keeping a job and social life. It’s been hard but I feel that I’m ready to start my higher education again and gain those resources from a stable job to help me towards my career path. I believe that I will continue to not only learn more skills but use the ones I’ve gained in the future.
