My skills in helping children and families find success deeply resonates with my passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young individuals facing challenges.With a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Portland State University and my previous experience with FosterClub, a nonprofit organization partnered with DHS. Throughout my academic journey, I have honed strong organizational skills and attention to detail, which will be essential in providing comprehensive case management services to traditional ILP youth. My degree in Criminology has equipped me with valuable insights into the justice system, empowering me to advocate for youth facing barriers to achieving their goals.I have facilitated NYTD surveys, gaining a deeper understanding of the transitional journey these youth undergo. This experience has strengthened my commitment to providing tailored support and resources to help them succeed.I am confident that my interpersonal and communication skills will enable me to build meaningful connections with the youth and collaborate effectively with caseworkers and stakeholders.I will work diligently to empower young individuals to achieve their goals related to housing, education, independent living skills, employment, health, and more.With a flexible and non-traditional schedule, I am prepared to be readily available for the youth and their families.
