I served City View ISD (TX) for 1 year as a teacher. I also served Wichita Falls ISD (TX) for 27 years as a teacher, high school AP, elementary principal, coordinator of district initiatives, and Asst Dir of Federal Programs. My position as Asst Dir was part of the 2022 reduction in force (RIF). I walked away from all I had ever known after the RIF and joined the Civil Service as an Instructor at Sheppard AFB (TX). I now teach military instructors how to teach. Best job ever! I was named 2023 Civilian Instructor of the Year for the 82d Training Support Squadron! I also currently serve Midwestern State University (TX) as an adjunct instructor, a position I have held for 25 years.
