• Facilitated 25+ different discussion topics for a group of 12 prediabetic Emory employees focused on healthy living and lifestyle changes to reduce their risk of type II diabetes• Encouraged participants to commitment of the goal of the program: to lose 5-7% of body weight and exercise at least 150 minutes per week to reduce the risk of type II diabetes• Mentored each participant individually and prioritized holistic care i.e. physical, emotional, and mental health

I worked for Dr. Walters, an Applied Health Science professor at Wheaton College. I conducted lab assessments for students taking the Wellness course. Assessments included flexibility, Body Fat (using the Bod Pod), Hand Grip Strength Test, Blood Pressure, and basic vitals.
