About Koryn Heisler

I have over 10 years of teaching experience in the public school system and working at the district level. I have my Master's in Education and 2 post-graduate diploma's. I am the owner and founder of This World's Ours Centre. This World’s Ours is an inclusive centre in the heart of Vancouver providing a safe, social space and a variety of programs for neurodiverse children and families. We offer programs for ALL children, after-school club, adult programming, family programming, day camps, birthday parties, workshops, and access to a variety of service providers that can support your child and/or family. We offer the following therapy: Art Therapy, Behavior Consulting, Counselling, Life Coaching, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech & Language Pathology through providers that contract office space from us.

    I started with VSB as a Life Skills Teacher at Templeton Secondary for 1 year. I then moved to John Oliver Secondary and taught the Jr. Life Skills program until 2015. In 2015, I became an Inclusion Consultant for the district. I case managed the district programs and consulted with schools to support students with low incidence designations. In 2018 I moved to a part time role doing ELL Assessments at NWC.
