Oversees, trains, coaches, and manages a team of five in boosting Color of Change’s following and influence in the digital space, leveraging existing and emerging digital channels and networks.• In conjunction with the Chief Communications Officer, helps to craft the narrative roadmap of COC’s 1-, 3-, and 5-year plans under five different strategic initiatives, encompassing over 42 campaigns.• Deploys campaigns and messaging across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube ensuring quality and consistency of brand identity, narrative, tone, and voice.• Drives social media performance via analytics and reporting, utilizing data to deliver insights and improve future campaigns, leading to an average 27% uptick in engagement & 2000% increase in click throughs to website.• Advises on Public Relations press strategies that have led to over 160M impressions and over 60 news placements for COC, along with several speaking engagements for our President, Rashad Robinson.• Advises on Social Media strategies that have led to over 30M impressions and over 770K engagements across social media platforms.• Leads the revamping of the social media and press department into one cohesive Public Relations Department.• Advises internal stakeholders and the organization on digital and social strategies for all campaigns and initiatives, along with advising outside vendors and partners on best digital practices that support COC’s mission.• Guides content development to support the C-suite team and senior staff efforts to amplify thought leadership.• Supervises a team of 4 social media Mangers and 2 Public Relations Managers and more than 3 vendors.• Manages a team budget of 1.6 M per year.
