While reporting to the Accounting Manager, my responsibilities primarily centered around Accounts Receivable and collections. This achievement had a notably beneficial effect on our liquidity ratios, a critical concern for businesses across Greece during the country's financial crisis.Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in onboarding new customers, conducting thorough credit reviews, granting approvals, and negotiating payment terms and payment plans. Starting as an intern, I quickly became a top performer. I achieved notable results, such as increasing our DPO, which positively impacted our cash flow cycle, a critical concern during Greece's financial crisis.While building up AP, I successfully maintained strong relationships with our vendors. My role also involved assisting with AR collections and providing support to team members in various projects. This allowed me to gain exposure to month-end close, GL maintenance, account recs, and collaboration with auditors throughout my tenure.
