I am an aspiring software developer from Ukraine, currently based in Nashville, TN. Ever since I've heard the quote of Arthur C. Clark "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic", I wanted to know how the technology that I was using every day worked behind the scenes. I wanted to learn how to make this magic happen. This led me to my self-study journey, and as soon as I dip my toes in this ocean of amazing resources, I knew it was my passion.I am currently enrolled in Tech Elevator Java bootcamp and I am working on an associate's degree in Computer Information Technology. I have over 5 years of experience in customer service. I am a quick learner and I am very adaptable. Previously I worked as a photographer on a cruise ship, and it was a unique working environment. I had to quickly adjust to setting up studio stations in a lot of unexpected places, dealing with hundreds of customers each day, living in the middle of the sea, and working with no days off. But even though it was challenging, I adapted very quickly and was even nominated for an employee of the month out of over 1000 workers on the ship. I always try to deal with challenges with hard work, determination, a positive attitude, and teamwork.I am excited to start my career in tech and to be a part of this amazing community.
