I lead the procurement activities for a Finnish plastic compounding company recognized as a global leader in its market segment. With a focus on direct purchasing, my role encompasses managing significant spend related to incoming raw materials and packaging. My procurement strategies directly impact the company's profitability. I am also playing a key role in our expansion project in the USA, successfully sourcing a new raw material and supplier portfolio to support our growth objectives.Key responsibilities: supplier relationship management, negotiation and vontracts, sourcing and tendering, cost savings initiatives, market analysis, stakeholder support (technical and commercial), team leadership.

I managed the sales initiatives for electrically conductive plastics and other specialty compounds across diverse markets, including the Nordics, Baltics, Mediterranean countries, China, India, and Latin America. My role encompassed both key account management and proactive business development.Key responsibilities: customer relationship management, collaboration with distributors, customer needs assessment, technical expertise.

In my role, I focused on developing both established and new electrically conductive plastic compounds tailored to meet customer needs. I served as a key technical support resource for the sales and production teams, as well as for our customers.Key responsibilities: innovative product development, technical support, material characterization, production trials, stakeholder engagement.

While pursuing my studies at TUT, I worked as a part-time research assistant in Professor Jyrki Vuorinen's plastics and composites team. My role involved conducting comprehensive mechanical testing and performing various material characterizations, including microscopic analysis and chemical characterization (FTIR), as well as thermal analysis techniques such as DSC, DMTA, and TGA. This experience deepened my understanding of material science and honed my skills in practical research applications.Key contributions: material testing and behavior analysis, technical problem solving, communication and service skills.
