• Assisted the research and design team responsible for designing Wire Electronic Discharge Machines monitored by CNC systems used for high precision machining of metal pieces.
• Conducted computer aided design (CAD) using Solidworks for designing 3D printed parts for Wire Electronic Discharge Machines (WEDM).
• Proposed designs for the cover of the wire disposal unit in the WEDM as well as the design for the blower which controls the disposal of the used wires in the WEDM.
• Used 3D printing technology to print samples of the blower and experiment the effectiveness of it, specifically the airflow through the blower for proper wire disposal.
