I owned the multi-channel search experience for Walmart eCommerce, as well as the search features and relevance for Walmart's Grocery Delivery service.My team delivered step function gains in conversion by extending the search platform to adapt to grocery buying patterns. This was due to improved search relevance and a smoother user experience.

Launched and scaled tools to manage the purchase and deployment of inventory for one of the largest online merchants in the US. These tools were large-scale, real-time data science products leveraging machine-learning, stochastic optimization and lots of data visualization and workflows. They were adopted organically by teams within Walmart by virtue of the value they added.Inventory planning and optimization: Helped build out the algorithmic inventory control solution. Transformed a completely manual, excel based process into an automated planning solution with significant reduction in inventory levels and improvement in product availability.Inventory allocation and placement: Revamped inventory allocation process for a completely new fulfillment network
