I am a full stack web developer with a rich management history. I worked for a technologically dated footwear manufacturing and distribution company for the bulk of my career and it was there I learned how to truly be resourceful. I wore many different hats such as receptionist, customer service rep, operations management, and even tried my hand pulling orders in our warehouse. I was also thrusted into many different positions including: I.T., Systems Administrator, and webmaster which afforded me the unique position of truly understanding the various working pieces of our company. Just like in the coding world we code DRY (dont repeat yourself) or KISS (keep it simple stupid) that was my greatest contribution to my previous employer. I would take an operation or process and I would simplify it making things move a lot quicker and smoother, and with far less redundancies. Though I helped my company simplify its day to day load and improve its efficiency, there was still a gaping void in the system, so I tasked myself to fill it! I immersed myself in General Assembly full time in order to increase my knowledge and gain the skills I needed to take my company into a newer technological era.
