Research Project on Analysis of Transfer Bloodstains on Textiles (Funded by National Institute of Justice, USA):To study the effect of external pressure and time on the transfer of stains.-Designed and built apparatus for measuring blood transfer from one fabric to another as a function of time and external pressure-Established a test method for conducting blood transfer from one fabric to another -Used wetting and wicking behavior of yarns and fabrics to understand the experimental results-Tested physical properties of yarns and fabrics to understand its effect on wetting and wicking-Used JMP/Excel to analyze the experimental resultsThe project scope includes studies on:-Parameters influencing wetting and wicking in yarns and fabrics-Liquid transport in and between fabric(s)-Inter- and intra-yarn liquid transport-Comfort clothing for sudorific activities-Engineered fabric design for sportswear

-Improved quality by identifying production problems in real time and immediately correcting them-Completed root cause analysis on product issues and provided countermeasures-Maintained quality parameters for Export 4-Point checking system-Tested yarns and fabrics according to the ASTM and AATCC test methods-Assisted in the investigation, response, and follow-up of client inquiries and complaints

-Insured quality product by making daily rounds and reported any issues to the team lead-Implemented Export 4-Point quality checking system and ensured it was properly followed-Trained new Quality Control department employees about the SOPs, quality inspection, fabric mending, finding defects-Maintained records, logs, files and physical inventory of samples

-Shadowed operators working on various machines-Observed yarn manufacturing process
